A quick look at the changelog in DJGPP CVS, I see that post-2.03 changes
include:

* Support for FAT32 drives;
* Better compatibility with GCC built-ins;
* Symlink support;
* Bugfixes.

A lot of work is going into making DJGPP work with the upcoming gcc 3.0.

Why would you want to use DJGPP on anything other than DOS?

For Windows there's Cygwin, although DJGPP also works pretty well on
Windows '9x. I haven't used it much under Windows NT, but I guess it works
better now there's a good LFN driver for NT.

Some of the libraries for DJGPP are available for other platforms, so
DJGPP is going to be useful for a while, with its source-level
portability.

I guess you could help test out the pre-release versions of ports, e.g.
Mark E's port of bash 2.04:

This is in beta right now.

Bye,
