I think you'll find that issuing your pet project as a challenge to
programmers at large is unlikely to get them to work on it for you for
free.  While some programmers may (as you seem to think) have huge
egos and think "Ha! I am Smart! I can do that Easily!", in my
experience they are also lazy and conclude, "But why should I?"

You are several orders of magnitude more likely to get a response if
you offer money.  Your chances go up even more if you hire through
standard channels, rather than usenet.

Furthermore, this has nothing whatever to do with DJGPP and should not
have been posted here in the first place.  Some group with a title
more like "misc.jobs.programmers.wanted" would have been more appropriate.
