Newsgroup: comp.os.msdos.djgpp From: James W Sager Iii <sager+@andrew.cmu.edu> On Thu, 31 Aug 2000 06:02:00 -0400 >I just updated allegro and stuff since I have been away for years. > >How can I tell what version of gcc I am using. I think there is a -version switch, but IIRC, it's somewhere in the FAQ. If you've been away for years, then it's save to say you need updating. >And would it be sufficient to just check www.deleorie.com for zippacker >and allegro.com for updates or should I go elsewhere for the newest stuff? You can get DJGPP from delorie.com and allegro from http://www.talula.demon.co.uk/allegro/ Get the latest WIP version (3.9.33 IIRC) instead of the older 3.12 release. Regards, Evert Glebbeek
