hello, i am just wondering, I have written my own program to get into
SVGA modes using VESA 2.0 a while back, before 3.0 came out (for DJGPP),
now I have given my code to a bunch of people and some of them have said
that it does't work on their computer returning VESA 2.0 Init Failed.
These guys (as far as I can tell) have relatively new Video Cards, like
a Voodoo 3 so it should support *some* VESA at least, right??? now if
the cards do support VESA, but only version 3.0, is this the cause of
the program not working??? Might I add that I have tested my code on a
sleuth of ATI video cards and a TNT2 card from Diamond and it worked
fine... so I patiently await any comments you may have... thnx you.
