I have a small suggestion of test relative to that issue,
but I also have no access to win 2000 :(

A friend told me that he had more problems with ld version 2.9.1
than with earlier versions (like 2.8.?), but it was on a Win98 box.
So I was wondering if DJGPP programs compiled with older versions
of DJGPP tools (2.01 or 2.02) also make Win 2000 crash
at the third level !

Using an older make and gcc version from simtelnet should be
enough to test if some recent changes in the DJGPP library
might have a influence on the stability of DJGPP programs
in Win 2000 OS.

Eli could probably tell us which simtl version were compiled
with version 2.01 and 2.02 of DJGPP tools respectively !
