Since you are in the Pascal area, why not program it in Ada95 ?
So you won't be trapped in the various syntaxes of Pascal dialects.
The DJGPP Ada front-end (GNAT/DOS, aka ez2load) is there for that; if you
are not happy, you can use another compiler with minimal changes.
