Right. But I suspect our 'kik' is someone who frequents the 'gray areas' of
news servers (the portions starting with alt.binaries and featuring
gratuitous replacement of trailing s'es with z's). In those 'communities'
the bodyless message is a frequent occurrence (although even then there is
some netiquette involved, ie a prefix of REQ for requests, ...)
See, doing a small project on the 'Dark Side of the Internet' does have some
uses :)
