Don't know if this applies to you, but in digital electronics, OR gives a 1
result for 1 OR 1 wheras  XOR gives a 0 for 1 XOR 1. ??


         OR                                  XOR

       0 0 = 0                           0 0 = 0
       0 1 = 1                           0 1 = 1
       1 0 = 1                           1 0 = 1
       1 1 = 1                           1 1 = 0
