The performance boost is not so significant to warrant such a total 
recompile, IMHO.  Of course, it's up to you.  Note that you will have
to rebuild the libraries (libc.a, libm.a and libstdcxx.a) as well if
you want to get everything aligned on 16-byte boundaries.  And while
at that, the compiler switches used for building libc.a and libm.a 
probably need some tweaking as well.
