Hi,

The reason I'm asking this cause in one of my project, one (only
one) of the source file, when compiled with optimation, then try
to debug a function contained in that file in gdb, it will give
errorneous results. I forgot if gdb crashed while debugging it
or not, but I remember peculiar flow of my program. It is solved
if that particular source file is compiled without optimation. I
have tried it with gcc 2.8.1 & 2.9.5, also with pgcc 2.90.23.

Hmm, looks like I have to add a new rule in the makefile after
all.

Thanks guys.
