That's right.  The system where I'm typing this is running for more
than two weeks without being shut down and no crashes.  See section
8.15 of the FAQ for more about this.

That's easy: any software whose version number ends with a ".0" is
unstable, but marketing types will never learn that...

On Windows 98, you can use the System File Checker utility to see the
sheer volume of this mess: it shows you every system file that was
replaced since the installation.
