IIRC newer versions of the Allegro dev 'snapshot' are available in DOS
and Linux formats. Either will work, but if you use the Linux tarball
(read: snapshot) on a DOS box you need to run the fixdjgpp.bat batch
file.

Likewise if the DOS tarball is downloaded onto a Linux box, run the
fixunix.sh shell script.

Anyway, see if there is a fixdjgpp.bat file int he root of the Allegro
directory and try running it. Hoep that helps.
