Your usage of the term 'open gcc' already tells 90% of the story. You
obviously are a Windows-only user, who never really used command-line
tools before. DJGPP, on the other hand, is a DOS toolchain, which uses
command-line tools. So you'll have to learn how to use DOS programs,
before you'll get the full benefit out of DJGPP. See the DJGPP
'readme.1st' file for an explanation of the basics.
