thx very much for the help u guys :-))

i used the SET command at c:\
an did set the DJGPP variable manual.

it didn't work with the dos style set djgpp= d:\djgpp\djgpp.env

so i tried the unix style

set djgpp= d:/djgpp/djgpp.env

and it worked fine
