One known configuration that causes all DJGPP programs to crash is the 
ThinkPad (see section 6.12 of the FAQ for details).  There's no known 
solution to this problem, except not to use ThinkPad.

Another known problem of similar kind is when SBLive! version 1.x is 
installed on your machine.  The solution is to upgrade SBLive! from the 
vendor's Web site.

If the above doesn't help, please describe your hardware and software (OS, 
version, any non-standard device drivers).  Please also post the full 
text of your AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS.
