Do you include other .h files before stdio.h? If these 
files have error (the most common is to write
function declaration forgetting the final ';') then the 
compiler gets confused and reports error in subsequent 
files.

Could you please post the smallest source code that 
gives the error? Very often this reducing process helps 
you to find the error yourself. :-)
