Subject: linker error: Can not read symbols..
Mime-Version: 1.0
Reply-To: djgpp AT delorie DOT com

Hi. I am having a linking problem where I get the message:
'Error: <obj_filename>: can not read symbols'.
The particular 'obj_filename' is one that uses a tcpip library. I have not seen
this case posted on the mail-help, but I have seen something close ( can not
read symbols: memory exhausted ). I am not getting the memory exhausted part.
Since an object file is created, what symbols are the linker talking about? Is
the tcpip library causing this problem? Any suggestions? Thanks.
