There should be no problems with old *.gpr (unless You try to  use them
with pre 1.4.7 versions)

About *.gdt: update to newer version of setedit (currently 0.4.41) made 
desktop files incompatible (the result is SIGSEGV). So You MUST delete
them all (the same if You return to 1.4.7 for same reason)
