Depending on the dos prog.
But try trapping int 10 and testing if is the char out put or in the case of
DOS pkzip and pkunzip trap int 29 (fast print char)

Subject: Can I redirect DOS text output to a graph. screen ?

I have written a frontend to start a DOS program that displays text on
screen on one single line while executing. To set parameters to this DOS
program in a convinient way I have used allegro to build a GUI that then
starts the DOS program.

I have now understood that there is no way I can decode the output from
the backend in my frontend. Is there then a way to redirect the output
so that it is shown on the graphical screen, which I use for the
frontend ?

Switching betweed text screen and GUI screen is very ugly, so this would
be nice. Is it possible somehow ?
