Which install script are you referring to here?  RSXNTDJ should be
installed by following the HOWTO whose URL is in section 3.6 of the
FAQ; as far as I could see, it doesn't tell to edit DJGPP.ENV.

Thanks.  I suggest to send this recommendation to the author of the
RSXNTDJ HOWTO.

It's possible.  But it is very hard to tell without seeing the crash
traceback.  Please post it.
