I have installed new versions released in January of Textinfo (txi40b)
and TextUtils (txt20b) (among others), using unzip32 (after clean
removal of the old files with rm -f @manifest\...). 
I have problems with the two info files info-stnd.info and
textutils.info which have file names more than 8 characters long.
When trying to read the info files trough the info standalone program,
all is perfect if I start first info, then search into dir to find the
files.
However if I try e.g. 
  info info-stnd 
  info info-stnd.info
or even the DOS name-numeric tail version
  info INFO-ST~2.INF
(found through dir into a dos box which gives both long and short names)
info complains it cannot find the file.
if I type
  info cat
which is within textutils.inf, it finds it (presumably through reading
the file dir)
but it cannot find the master file through
  info textutils
Exactly the same occurs for infview. It is unable to find those files
through 
  infview textutils
and even if I start infview and then try to load them through the menu
Files/Open Info Files, they are seen in the scroll box but infview is
unable to load them.
I work in a W98 DOS Box with LFN=y (from DJGPP.ENV) with Name Numeric
Tails Enabled
(DJGPP is 2.03)
Any hint ?
