thanks Eli,

i'm willing to accept that my code is buggy, so i'll do
my best at finding it. however, it was v2.02 that i upgraded
from. As far as i could tell from the Knowledge Base, there were
no changes to malloc or free from 2.02->2.03. But that aside,
I do realise it's more likely my code is at fault.

i had another problem today, and i'll report that as an
official bug in GCC when i read more about the process. I was
building a C++ Allegro program, when i got the following message:

In file included from main.cpp:2:
c:/programming/dj/include/allegro.h: In function `int operator ==(fix, fix)':
c:/programming/dj/include/allegro.h:2811: Internal compiler error in `emit_store
_flag', at expmed.c:4215
Please submit a full bug report.
See <URL:http://www.gnu.org/software/gcc/faq.html#bugreport> for instructions.
make.exe: *** [main.o] Error 1

Straight after this, i tried to build it again and everything went
smoothly. I've been unable to reconstruct the bug. I'm seriously
thinking about going back to my old installation.....

g'bye,
jazir.
