I've only had a problem with MIDI music.  The examples work fine on my card,
albeit a bit quiet.  Try editing allegro.cfg in your allegro directory.
Take a peek in Device Manager for more detailed info on your card to help
fill in the blanks.  Play around with the settings until it works.  Worked
for me :)
