The best place for Perl information is at CPAN.   CPAN has scripts,
modules, documentation, and an index of Perl ports for every known
operating system.  Here is a mirror site in Romania:

DJGPP Perl is the best choice for MS-DOS.   The most recent version is
available at Simtel.  You will probably also need csdpmi.  Again, in
