The version of gperf ported to DJGPP is outdated for your task. I had to
grab recent source tarball from ftp.gnu.org, apply the patch for GCC and
build it by myself. Since it is not ported DJGPP, you should have installed
some GNU utilities like make, bash and possibly others, and be prepared for
potential failures. But rest assured, it is possible to get .exe ;-)

BTW, IMHO for build process would help regenerating some files with
DJGPP port of autoconf and automake. Just IMHO.
