That's a VGA mode, with 480 scanlines. The closest EGA mode
is 0x10, with 640x350 pixels.

If you're on a VGA, try using mode 0x13. It's a *lot* simpler
to program. Just get farptr (preferably) or nearptr (if you must)
access to absolute 0xa0000, and treat it as a 2D array of chars.
