Would the book be "SAMS Teach yourself C++ in 21 Days" ? ;-)

I think you need to copy the file stubify.exe manually, a lot of users
have found the SAMS setup program has a bug.

If you still have problems it would be worth downloading a fresh copy
from http://www.delorie.com (use the zip picker) and follow the
install intructions in readme.1st, that way you will also have the
latest versions.

And email SAMS saying you are a disatisfied customer, this problem
needs fixing! (assuming it's the SAMS book you have of course ;-)
