gcc-2.95.1
dev 2.02

are the newest, and the difference is that they are supported
while gcc-2.81 and dev-2.01 are not.

There are important bug fixes in 2.02 not found in 2.01 and the
same goes for gcc.

It is prudent to *always* use the latest official release, it is
most likely to be correct, and definately more likely to be supported
in this newsgroup.

(Besides, there are only 3 zips needed for a plain vanilla C compiler,
dev202b.zip, gcc2951b.zip, bnu281b.zip and the setup is quite simple,
so its not much of a hassle to keep current. Only one more needed for
c++: gpp2951b.zip. That wasn't so bad was it?)
