Thanks for your help.  The computer is an old laptop whose battery
isn't holding the charge anymore which means the date is always off.
That is why it always wants to remake everything.

It'll still serve the purpose though. I use it with my telescope and
the programs I'm writing for it.  I really don't want to take a new
laptop out in the field.
