Yes it is possible. But icons are Windows features,
not supported by DOS. DJGPP is a DOS complier.
Learn Win-programming!
There are many good books (make sure they descripe Win32 API).
If you are programming in C I recomend lcc-Win32 as your complier.
You find a Link in the DJGPP FAQ.
With lcc-Win32 you get:
1. The complier
2. A very, very good IDE.
3. Documetation (including a complete desciption over Win32 API).
4. A icon maker (can make cursors too)
5. And much more.
Don't try to learn Win-programming with the helpfile over Win32 API
that comes with lcc. You will need to know what you are looking for.
(and a beginner don't, trust me)
