Lempel-Ziv-Welch compression is patented. Does your site mention that Unisys
(http://www.unisys.com) will own United States patent 4,558,302 on LZW
compression until at least the year 2003, or that Unisys won't let open
source software use LZW compression, or that the Free Software Foundation
(http://www.gnu.org) is boycotting GIF because GIF uses LZW compression and
Unisys is not nice to copylefters who use the GNU General Public License?
