What sort of DOS are you using ? I've noticed very different
behaviours by testing a similar multi-keys handler in Ada (same
DOS/DPMI context):

* MS-DOS (plain & Windows) - maybe to avoid too many interrupt calls -
seems to consider no more than 4-6 simultaneously pressed keys;
* DR-DOS (7.03) does consider ALL keys: if you press all the keys
with both hands, nose, feet, all keys will be "on".
