    Well, RHIDE can use 80x50 and even 94x34 (I think).

    But, if you insist on having a native windows program, try XEmacs.  I
use it for most of my DJGPP development.  The only bad part, is it's
debugging mode, it pales in comparison to RHIDE.  You would need to use
makefiles to compile your code, but XEmacs will trap the errors and jump to
the line of code.
