Where can I find Bash 2.03 beta? I didn't see it on simtelnet or 
www.delorie.com, and FTPsearch didn't turn up anything.
 I have the auxiliary utils, but the configure process fails in /libiberty, 
probably because I still run Bash 1.14.7

there is a typo in the above two lines, acinlud should read acinclude. 
Otherwise the patch ran fine.

Andris sent me a shellscript called 'build-binutils', which let the package 
build just fine with Bash 1.14.7. If anybody is interested I'll post the 
script. It's quite different from Eli's patch.
