Are you running under Windows ? You may have less than you think your DOS
prompt.
If it's real DOS, than I guess 128MB should be sufficient (unless your
program is a memory hog).

I was talking about the results of one of the Allegro examples, so we may
see what causes the problem and/or under what circumstances this happens.
