i don't know too much about it, cuz i'm having problems as well.  but,
the linker line should be "-lalleg" not "-alleg".....try compiling w/o
rhide if rhide doesn't work.  i can get this command to work:
"gcc file.c -o file.exe -lalleg",
but i am not successful with RHIDE.....
