If you want me to, then I can ask my the school were I am working if we
can open a mirror site. I don't know if  the network administrators will
agree, but it would solve the speed problem. The problem is the pages with
scripts etc, but maybe we could solve that...

We use DJGPP for education in C++-programming and I think it would be good
for my students to get a faster connection.
