No, please do NOT rename libstdcxx.a into libstdcx.a.  If you do, you 
will have other, similar problems with this library.

The correct solution for this problem is explained in section 8.7 of the 
DJGPP FAQ list.  Please follow that advice if you want to avoid trouble.
