Please don't react like that.  You have asked for free help.  If some
of the replies are not appropriate, simply disregard them.  Flaming
people for providing information that doesn't help you will not get
you anywhere.

Well, the docs does say "This function formats the given TIME
according to the given FORMAT", and you didn't put any value at all
into the argument TIME.

However, I changed the example for strftime to be more complete.
