Well, no, grabber will not do this if it's working fine. Normally, you would
 be able to see a menu, the left list box, the right gray area plus some
other
dialog objects. I never had problems with the grabber and I can't tell why
you
get this. Did you compile the grabber by making Allegro? Did you make it
for DJGPP or maybe MSVC?

Also, you can try running the grabber in a different depth and resolution.
Maybe another color depth/resolution will work.
