You can also add -fconserve-space which will save some space.

Why do you want to save on .exe size anyways? The point of being in 32 bit
mode was exactly to stop worrying about size. You have all RAM, and then you
can page to disk automatically. You should develop without any kind of
optimisation there to keep the debug codes.
