<strstream> is non-ANSI, correct? Is there somewhere an <sstream> file
available for djgpp? Or should I move to egcs?

Am I right to state that using stringstreams is the only convenient way
to convert floating-type numbers to a string representation in ANSI C++,
or am I overlooking some function?
