If in win9x,
If you don't have a registered type called .c or if you have
the "hide filenames for types that are registered option checked
then it will call the files foo.c.txt, so gcc won't reckognise
them.  If that isn't the case please post the error message
posted by gcc, and read the faq to see if the problem is in 
there.
