There is no type in either C or C++ with the obscene name UINT32. 
Unfortunately, this will change in C9x.  Just use the perfectly legal C89 type
'unsigned int' or 'unsigned long', which for djgpp are both unsigned 32-bit
integral types.  When gcc starts supporting the ugly C9x macros, djgpp will
also.
