It means your code has managed to utterly confuse the compiler, and
the confusion was passed to the assembler.

Alternatively, it's possible that the problem is in the way you
invoked the compiler.  Please post the exact command line you used to
compile that program.

You should *always* post the code when you report such problems.  If
your source is longer than, say, 100 lines, please try to make it as
small as you can by removing parts of it that don't affect the error
messages.
