hello,
after more testing i realised it's my own silly fault.
i was trying to enter non-integer sizes, eg: 1.1MB.
i should've realised only integers would work.
when i use decimals, it creates files of size 1 byte.
i guess it doesn't matter now, but the date on split.exe is 10-31-96.

i feel silly now, hehe.
