    That's odd, I tried it on my machine and "/dir/file.ext" works fine.  Maybe
you should try adding the drive letter to the pathname#include "C:/dir/file.ext"

    Also, I don't mean to insult your inteligence, but are you actually running
in a directory who's parent is root?
