I inherited a djgpp project that uses Allegro. With that project came a file
called makefile that I am using to build the project. I eventually want to
convert the project to a rhide project but I have some questions.

1. The makefile seems to have been generated by some program what program
generates makefiles?

2. In what document can I find the meaning of the compiler switches?

3. In my first attempt at building the project in rhide I got several error
messages during linking. rhide complained that there multiple definitions
for the calls to Allegro functions. I added the liballeg library to the
project in the options-libraries menu item. What are multiple definitions
and how do I get the project to build successfully.

Thank you very much for any help.

Regards,
Bill Pate
