Perhaps WINDOZE 4.1 (98) becomes confused by the line above, in which
you refer to PATH ("%PATH%") before it is really set?
What is the results if you insert "SET
PATH=C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND;" on the line _before_ that line.
