DJGPP 2.03 will have an updated texi2ps that does two-column prints,
but in portrait mode (i.e. two *long* columns per page).

texi2ps -f 8 -2 -v -m 36, for example, would produce only 139 pages.

Switching to a 4-point font reduces it to only 73 pages ;-)

Duplexed is up to you and your printer.  You could, for example, hand
feed each sheet twice.

Might be easier to download it to a laptop and read it electronically.

You can get djgpp 2.03's texi2ps from my anon cvs server:

setup:		http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/cvs.html
command:	cvs get djgpp/src/utils/texi2ps

Of course, you'll have to get all of djgpp's sources just to get the
texinfo files.
